Vintage Genuine Navajo Indian Handmade Yei be Chei Wool Rug, 53″ x 72″ / The original “Genuine Navajo Indian Rug” tag from time of purchase is attached to the rug. Tag information states that it was made in Rough Rock, AZ with a $750 retail price – the equivalent of over $4,200 in 2026’s dollar. Reverse side of tag reads “A truly American Indian article. 100 per cent virgin wool is hand cleaned, carded, spun and dyed by women of the Navajo Tribe who then use the various colored yarns to weave original designs on a primitive native loom.” Was purchased at a now-closed Trading Post in Nevada – Moser’s American Indian Art in September of 1976. The rug will come with the original receipt/certificate of guarantee from time of purchase. Beautiful colors! Non-jewelry/large items in this auction ship for the cost of postage plus $20 for handling/materials per invoice.
