A Navajo sterling silver dual-sided squash blossom necklace by Milton James, featuring both turquoise and coral cabochons. The necklace comprises a string of graduated, fluted silver beads, leading to twelve ‘squash blossom’ stations. Each station is set with multiple small cabochon stones around a central silver bead and terminates in a flaring silver element. A large crescent-shaped ‘Naja’ pendant forms the centerpiece, similarly adorned with multiple rows of small cabochon stones. The necklace is designed to display either coral or turquoise cabochons, as depicted in the provided images. It is marked "Sterling" and bears the artisan’s mark "MJ" on the reverse of the Naja. The necklace fastens with a hook-and-eye clasp.
