Description
A matching pair of Tonya Yazzie Navajo Pink Conch and Sterling Silver Thunderbird drop earrings. Each earring features two articulated, stylized thunderbird motifs, with each bird centrally set with a circular, polished pink conch cabochon stone. The sterling silver surfaces are embellished with stamped and incised linear and geometric designs. The reverse of the lower thunderbird on each earring is visibly marked "G.T.Y." in block letters, "Sterling" in script, and a small stamped floral or blossom symbol. The upper thunderbird on each earring is fitted with a post-and-nut backing.
