Premier Native & Southwest Jewelry - Sept 13th
Lot 73:
Description
A sterling silver ring, crafted in the Navajo style, depicting a bold, cast design of an Indian chief’s head adorned with a prominent feathered headdress. The headdress incorporates numerous small, inlaid segments of irregular shape, primarily in contrasting red and blue-green materials, visually consistent with crushed or chip inlaid coral and turquoise. The interior of the band is clearly marked "USA STERLING." The ring exhibits an overall dark patina, particularly in recessed areas and on the interior, suggesting either age-related tarnish or intentional antiquing.
Ring face measures approximately 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) high and 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide.
Ring size: 8
Weight: 12 GR
