Description
A contemporary-style finger ring attributed to Navajo artisan Scott Skeets, crafted from sterling silver. The ring features a prominent pear-shaped cabochon stone, identified as Golden Hills turquoise, exhibiting distinctive light blue and reddish-brown matrix. The stone is bezel-set within a twisted rope border and an outer perimeter of silver beadwork. The ring is constructed with a split shank band that merges to a solid band at the base. The backside of the piece is stamped with "STERLING" and "S" for the artist’s signature. An accompanying retail tag identifies the artisan as "Scott Skeets, Navajo, Handmade, " the stone as "Golden Hills, " and notes "S.S" and "Adjustable" with a $250 price.
