Description
A pair of Navajo dangle earrings by Donovan Nez, featuring Golden Hills turquoise. Each earring comprises three linked elements of sterling silver, with the top element an oval, the middle a pear-shape, and the lowest an oval. Each element is bezel-set with a polished cabochon stone of light blue with prominent reddish-brown matrix, consistent with Golden Hills turquoise. The silver bezels feature a decorative scalloped edge, and the earrings are fitted with post-back closures. The reverse of the lowest element on one earring is stamped "Sterling" and also bears the maker’s mark "DN".
