Description
A pair of Navajo sterling silver and turquoise buffalo head stud earrings by Lloyd Becenti. Each earring is designed as a stylized buffalo or bison head, featuring a prominent oval, cabochon-cut turquoise stone with natural matrix. The stone is set within a plain bezel surrounded by a twisted wire detail on the animal’s forehead. The metalwork incorporates textured details to depict fur, horns, and facial features, reflecting a Southwestern or Native American aesthetic. The reverse of each earring is fitted with a post and butterfly back finding, and bears a stamped maker’s mark ‘LB’.
