Description
A pair of Native American Zuni needlepoint turquoise and sterling silver dangle earrings by Davis Kaamasee. Each earring features a round turquoise cabochon stud connected by a link to a lower open teardrop-shaped element. The teardrop element incorporates twisted wire detailing along its upper frame. The bottom of the teardrop expands into a fan-like arrangement of multiple rectangular turquoise stones, visibly set in a channel or inlay style, displaying light blue to greenish hues. The reverse of the lower element on each earring is clearly stamped "Sterling" above the initials "DK", consistent with the work of Davis Kaamasee. The pieces exhibit natural patina and light surface wear consistent with age and material, with all stones present and intact.
