Description
A pair of Navajo Kingman turquoise concho dangle earrings by Joan Begay. Each earring is crafted from silver-toned metal and features a two-part articulated design, with an oval upper element and a circular lower element. Both elements exhibit a repoussé or stamped floral motif with textured borders. The lower section of each earring is centrally set with a small, round, bezel-set Kingman turquoise cabochon. The reverse of each earring is fitted with post and butterfly backings. An accompanying label identifies the artist as ‘JOAN BEGAY’ and confirms the ‘NAVAJO HANDMADE’ origin and ‘KINGMAN TURQ’ material.
