Premier Native & Southwest Jewelry - Sept 13th
Lot 320:
Description
A Navajo two-tone metal finger ring, likely a men’s style, attributed as a Navajo 14k gold and sterling silver piece. The ring is primarily crafted from sterling silver, with an oval bezel featuring a central cut-out stylized geometric motif, possibly a variation of a cross or thunderbird, set against a darkened recess. This central design is framed by an applied border of small, rectangular 14k gold segments. The ring’s shoulders are further embellished with three tiered, square, raised 14k gold elements on each side. The interior of the band is stamped "STERLING" and bears additional indistinct markings including a stylized maker’s mark and what appear to be inventory ink.
The bezel measures approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) in length and 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) in width.
