Description
A Loretta Delgarito Navajo spiny oyster sterling silver shadowbox necklace. The piece features a central pendant with a large, roughly triangular cabochon stone exhibiting distinct reddish-orange and white striations, consistent with the shell material. The stone is set within an ornate silver frame detailed with a stylized flower, flanked by two substantial, highly decorative foliate or wing-like silver elements. These elements are embellished with intricate repoussé work, applied wire scrolls, and granulation. The necklace fastens with a lobster claw clasp. Both the clasp and a hallmark on the reverse of the central element are stamped "925," indicating sterling silver. An additional impressed mark on the reverse reads "RB" for Running Bear Shop above "925."
