Description
A Navajo silver ring by Daniel Dakai, featuring a prominent oval cabochon of mottled orange spiny oyster, exhibiting natural dark brown striations and a textured, somewhat porous surface with minor indentations. The wide, polished silver band is adorned with incised linear and geometric designs on the shoulders and features a distinct, stylized maker’s mark consistent with Running Bear Shop on the interior. An accompanying tag states the material as ‘Spiny Oyster’ and attributes the ring to ‘Daniel Dakai Navajo Handmade’, size 5, with an original price of $175.
