Description
A Navajo sterling silver pendant featuring a Palomino stone by Marita Benally. This piece is crafted from a silver-toned metal, with a central bezel-set teardrop-shaped opaque light green cabochon exhibiting natural dark veining. The stone is framed by a twisted rope border, and the pendant is surmounted by a textured bail with decorative spheres. Below the stone, the design incorporates three stylized, elongated elements, likely depicting feathers, alongside smaller decorative accents, all with chased or stamped details. The reverse shows surface scratching and a clear stamped hallmark depicting an animal head or profile. An accompanying retail tag identifies the item as ‘Navajo – Marita Benally – Pendent’.
