Description
A Navajo sterling silver finger ring by Betta Lee, featuring a rectangular cabochon of purple Mojave turquoise. The stone exhibits prominent blue and metallic gold/bronze matrixing. It is set in a plain bezel, bordered by twisted silver wire and an outer frame of applied domed elements. The ring has a split shank band. The reverse of the setting is stamped ‘Sterling’ and ‘B. LEE’. An accompanying tag identifies the maker as Betta Lee, Navajo, and confirms the materials as handmade sterling silver and purple Mojave.
Ring face measures approximately 1.75 inches (4.4 cm) long by 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide.
