Description
A Navajo sterling silver ring by Genevive Francisco, featuring a large, rectangular-oval cabochon Kingman turquoise stone. The turquoise exhibits a mottled blue-green hue with a visible dark brown matrix and metallic flecks. The stone is set in a plain bezel surrounded by a twisted rope border. The shoulders of the ring are adorned with stylized, fluted or shell-like elements and small spheres, leading to a multi-split shank band. A white label affixed to the underside of the setting is the only artist attribution, and reads "GENEVIVE FRNSCO", "NAVAJO HANDMADE", "SS KINGMAN TURQ", "RING SZ.14", and "$350".
Ring face measures approximately 1.25 inches (3.2 cm) in height and 1 inch (2.5 cm) in width.
