Description
A Zuni sterling silver and malachite bypass ring by Velda Nastacio. This open-ended bypass ring features two terminals, each set with multiple segments of green malachite. The malachite pieces, exhibiting natural banding, are precisely inlaid within silver bezels to form stylized heart, framed by textured, rope-twist silver borders. The underside of the silver settings bears incised markings resembling stylized initials or a script, consistent with the artist’s mark. The ring is adjustable.
