Description
A pair of sterling silver inlay drop earrings by Navajo artist Gilbert Smith. Each earring features an elongated, tapering form with a pointed base, suspended from a silver-colored ear hook. The design incorporates intricate inlay work, primarily composed of dark onyx, opal, turquoise, shell, and sterling circular elements. The metal setting is silver-colored and is stamped "Sterling" along with a capital letter "G" on the reverse of each earring. A label accompanying the earrings attributes them to Navajo artist Gilbert Smith.
