Description
A sterling silver ring by Navajo artist Betta Lee, featuring a prominent teardrop-shaped lapis lazuli cabochon. The lapis lazuli displays deep blue coloration with characteristic gold (pyrite) flecks and white veining. The stone is set within a decorative bezel, comprising a twisted wire inner border and an outer serrated edge, mounted on a split-shank band. Markings ‘Sterling’ and ‘B. LEE’ are visible on the reverse of the setting. An associated tag further identifies the piece as a ‘BETTA LEE NAVAJO HANDMADE STERLING SILVER LAPIS RING, SIZE 9’.
