Description
A Navajo sterling silver lariat necklace by Donovan Nez, featuring an oxidized oval-link chain terminating in a lobster clasp marked ‘925’. A graduated drop pendant suspends three bezel-set cabochon stones, oval at the top two positions and pear-shaped at the bottom, each displaying mottled patterns of bright pink, sky blue, and brown matrix, commonly referred to as ‘Cotton Candy’ stone. The reverse of the lowest setting bears a ‘DN, ‘ and a modern adhesive label on the back of the middle setting identifies the item as ‘DONOVAN NEZ NAVAJO HANDMADE COTTON CANDY NECKLACE $750’.
