Description
A Navajo sterling silver pendant by Alonzo Mariano, crafted in the form of a stylized turtle. It features a central bezel-set, square turquoise cabochon on its domed shell, which is extensively adorned with stamped geometric and dot motifs. Additional stamped details define the turtle’s flippers and head. A large, patterned bail with an incised zigzag design is attached at the top. The reverse of the pendant is marked with a stylized bear hallmark, the inscription "A. MARIANO, " and "STERLING."
