Description
A Navajo sterling silver Y-shaped necklace by Bessie Skeets, featuring interconnected, bezel-set cabochons of varying teardrop and oval shapes. The stones display natural variations in color, predominantly orange and a mottled purplish-red, consistent with Spiny Oyster shell. The settings and rolo-style link chain are silver-toned metal, marked "925" on the lobster clasp. An impressed mark "STERLING B. SKEETS" is visible on the reverse of the lowest pendant. An attached tag further identifies the piece as an "SS SPINY OYSTER NECKLACE" by "BESSIE SKEETS NAVAJO HANDMADE."
