Description
A Zuni sterling silver and turquoise needlepoint cluster ring by Evonne Hustito. This ornate finger ring features a large, oval cluster design characteristic of Zuni Petit Point or Needlepoint style. The central motif comprises two triangular and one rectangular turquoise cabochons set vertically, surrounded by numerous radiating, elongated, pointed turquoise stones, all secured in individual silver bezels with small spherical accents. The metal is silver-colored, displaying visible surface wear and oxidation consistent with use. A stamped maker’s mark, appearing to include letters such as "EH" or "EV, " is discernible on the reverse of the setting. An accompanying tag identifies the item as "SS KINGMAN TURQUOISE" by "EVONNE HUSTITO, ZUNI, HANDMADE."
