Description
A Navajo Sterling Silver and Kingman Turquoise bolo tie by L. Etsitty (Larry Etcitty). This Southwestern style bolo tie features a black braided leather cord with tapered silver-toned tips. The central, ornate oval slide is crafted from sterling silver, visibly marked "STERLING" and bears a script signature "L. Etsitty" on its reverse. It is set with a large rectangular Kingman turquoise cabochon centrally, surrounded by a border of smaller round turquoise stones, all within a scalloped and ribbed silver setting. A retail tag on the reverse further identifies the piece as "NAVAJO HANDMADE" by "LARRY ETCITTY" and specifies "KINGMAN TURW" (Turquoise).
The slide measures approximately 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) in length and 1.75 inches (4.45 cm) in width. The tips are approximately 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) long.
