Description
A pair of Zuni sterling silver and coral ‘snake eye’ dangle earrings by Delores Penia. Each earring features a floral-cluster stud from which a C-shaped or crescent drop is suspended. Both the stud and drop elements are adorned with numerous small, polished, rounded red-orange cabochon stones, consistent with coral, individually set in bezels. The lower crescent element incorporates an openwork design. The earrings are fitted with standard post-and-butterfly backings. No discernible maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible on the metal.
