Description
A Navajo sterling silver ring by Gilbert Nez, featuring a teardrop-shaped spiny oyster cabochon. The cabochon is of a vibrant orange hue with prominent natural white and red striations. The stone is set within a bezel, and the elaborate setting incorporates twisted wire, applied bead-like embellishments, and scrollwork design elements. The reverse of the ring is stamped with the maker’s mark "Gilbert Nez" and the purity mark "Sterling". Crack was present at time of creation
