Description
A Navajo sterling silver ring by Sam Yellowhair, featuring a prominent oval, cabochon-cut Kingman turquoise stone. The turquoise exhibits a mottled blue-green hue with brown matrix. The stone is set in a twisted wire bezel, flanked by applied silver beads and stylized repoussé elements resembling blossoms or sunbursts. The broad, tapering shank is adorned with stamped and chased decoration, including feather or leaf-like patterns and crescent moon motifs on the shoulders. The interior of the band is stamped "STERLING" alongside an obscured "SY" maker’s mark .
Face measures approximately 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) high by 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide.
