Description
A Navajo sterling silver ring by Tillie Jon, featuring a prominent, irregular cabochon stone of mottled greenish-blue Royston turquoise with significant brown matrix. The stone is set in a plain bezel, bordered by a textured rope-twist design and applied silver beads. The wide, tapering band of the ring features stamped geometric and curvilinear patterns. The interior of the band is marked "STERLING" and "T. JON", consistent with attribution to Navajo artist Tillie Jon as indicated on an accompanying label.
